first came to yoga as a child when her mum, an Iyengar yoga teacher, sent her to classes where she’d hold downward dog for ten minutes at a time! Although this put her off for a while, eventually returning to yoga as a teenager, it instilled some principles in Dora’s practice that are visible in her teachings - alignment over depth, and integrity of the posture over all. Dora teaches strong and dynamic vinyasa krama, from the Ashtanga lineage, as well as Acroyoga. Expect the unexpected and move with mindfulness - be it through a sun salutation or flying on someone’s feet!

Her classes are strong but soft, playful yet soulful. Lauren invites her students to simply feel, to be present on the yoga mat with a soft & forgiving attitude towards themselves.
her classes create a sense of freedom physically, mentally & energetically by developing a deep, honest connection with the self & others. Also cultivating joy, exploration & lightness of being. She started her practice at 15 in a hatha class in Scotland. Since then her journey has spanned a wide range of styles including completing her teacher training in 2014. She also holds a degree in philosophy, training in yin yoga with Norman Blair + Sarah Powers and mindfulness meditation teacher with Michael Stone.

Her spiritual journey started with a health-related issue which lead to a deep exploration into what it is to live in balance in today's world, which is not always easy! She has embraced Reiki practice which led to a deeper understanding of the positive effects our energy within us & around us can bring. Training in both lineages of the Japanese Usui System of Reiki with Torsten Lange & Debbie Goldsmith solidified how to work intuitively for the client, to trust & explore the subtle energies that exist.
